Responsibilities:
• Technical
o Responsible for providing quality repair, preventive maintenance service and complete installation and relocation start-up service of complex electromechanical and electronic systems at customer sites.
o Performs autonomously
o when analyzing and solving problems, covers a broad range of Lam products to the component level.
o May co-ordinate work of assigned engineers and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service received.
o Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and take steps to minimize downtime or system interruptions and eliminate equipment malfunctions. Determine corrective actions as required.
o Install and/or relocate equipment at customers’ sites. Conduct associated start-up, cut over and check-out activities on the newly installed system.
o Remain up to date on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals and other relevant materials.
o Maintain records and reports as required to properly coordinate activities with peers, supervisors(s) and customers. o Perform field modifications and updates as released in Engineering Change Notifications.
o Maintain records and reports as required to properly coordinate activities with supervisors and customers. o May assist Process Engineer with DOE evaluation.
• Leadership
o Provide technical instruction and leadership on installs, repairs, operations and calibrations.
o Provide on-site instruction to sub-contractors and customers.
o Assign tasks to lower level employees to ensure project completion on time
o Responsible for coordinating application of new procedures.
• Customer Relation
o Professionally represent the company to the customer. Be committed to customer satisfaction and develop good customer relations by maintaining standards of conduct acceptable to both Lam and customers.
o Interface directly with customer at a management and engineer level. Professionally represents the company to the customer.
o Drive customer meetings.
o Measure customer trust and drives improvement programs.
Requirements:
1.BS degree in electronics, engineering or other applicable field of study and a minimum of 8 years of work experience or Associates degree with +10 years of relevant experience.
2.Previous experience in installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment adhering to company procedures.
3.Work in constrictive clean room environment, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment.
4.Able to work rapidly for prolonged periods of time, including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, sitting and standing in one location.
5.Understand and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
6.Ability to interpret operation manuals to determine root cause of tool failures.
7.Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
8.Work independently, cooperatively in a team or with customers completing assignments with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
9.Perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
10.Adhere to customer rules and policies regarding worksite behavior and safety.
